I highly recommend Dr. Snyder, O.D., and the IPL treatment for dry eyes.
Before discovering this treatment, I was struggling with excessive tearing that interfered with my daily life—I couldn’t even wear eye makeup.
I also experienced blurred vision and frequently woke up with sore, crusty, and inflamed eyelids. I had tried numerous remedies, but they offered only minimal relief, and my symptoms continued to worsen.
Finding Dr. Snyder and his team was a true relief. The office is beautiful, clean, and modern, and the staff is incredibly warm and welcoming.
Dr. Snyder took the time to explain the IPL treatment for dry eyes in detail, and I appreciated that he also offered the option to treat facial skin during the same sessions.
After completing four IPL treatments, I noticed a dramatic improvement. By the end of the fourth session, the tearing had nearly stopped, and my eyelids were no longer inflamed.
As an added bonus, my skin looked significantly better—fine lines were reduced, and redness and discoloration had faded. I’m thrilled to be wearing eye makeup again, and all of my symptoms have completely resolved.

I had uncomfortably dry and itchy eyes during the day and at night before the treatments. I tended to rub my eyes a lot because of it.
The in-office treatment experience was excellent as both Dr Snyder, O.D., and Romy are attentive, responsive and good listeners. They made sure that I was comfortable during and after the radio frequency and IPL treatments and adjusted as needed.
The treatments unclogged my glands to allow more tears/oil to be expressed and coat my eyes and have reduced the need for frequent eye drops. I've also learned to take frequent eye breaks from computer/screen time and allow for more blinking.
My eyes were very dry before having the treatment. The experience was excellent and my symptoms have diminished by approximately 90%.

Each of the 4 treatments was completed approximately 4 weeks apart. These are one, to one and one-half-hour multi-step processes. Each step was thoroughly explained and conducted with great care. While causing some discomfort, the procedures were easily endured with little or no post-treatment discomfort. Each successive one resulted in improvement.
I now have considerable relief from the impacts of Dry Eye with only limited excessive tearing. Daily use of eye drops results in near-normal vision unobstructed from the original symptoms.

I was really impressed by the ease of scheduling the four treatments and each procedure went smoothly, adjusting for my comfort level.
